Some family stories are about a single family — and some are about everyone coming together from different places. This extended family session was a special family reunion in Fairfield, California. Some family members traveled from Arizona, others came all the way from Hawaii, and they gathered here to spend time together and create memories as one big family.
I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful reunion and capturing not only the big family portraits, but also the little moments, connections, laughter, and the love between generations. Extended family sessions are such a wonderful way to document these rare occasions when everyone is finally in the same place.
