A Little Coffee Chat About Memories

You know those little moments in life—the way your child’s nose scrunches when they laugh, or how your family has this unspoken rhythm when you’re all together? They pass by so quickly. Sometimes I catch myself wishing I could just freeze them for a little longer.
That’s really why I love photography. It isn’t just about posing or getting everyone to look at the camera (though I promise I do that too!). It’s about turning the ordinary, fleeting pieces of our days into something you can hold in your hands years from now.
I truly believe family photo sessions can be more than just a once-in-a-while event. They can become a family tradition—like Sunday pancakes or holiday movies. A time where you pause together, laugh, maybe get a little silly, and celebrate your story right now, just as it is.
Because here’s the thing: kids grow, seasons change, and life moves faster than we realize. But photographs? They stay. They become little treasures you can pass along, moments stitched into your family’s history.
So pour yourself a cup of coffee (or tea, if that’s your style) and just imagine opening an album years from now—seeing your kids’ gap-toothed smiles, remembering how small their hands were in yours, or how you all laughed at something only your family would find funny. That’s what I want for every family I photograph.
Here’s to turning moments into memories.
